India's penal laws, read by AI and turned into a searchable database with an AI research assistant.

The problem

Crime and Punishment researches India's criminal justice system. Its starting point was India's penal laws: dense legal text spread across many acts, hard to search or to compare punishments in.

What we built

  • AI scraping that extracted the penal laws and turned each offence into plain, human-readable language
  • Every offence categorised, with its punishment identified
  • An AI agent with tracking that answers legal questions and runs AI-based research on any matter

The problem

Owners of small businesses lose hours each morning checking emails, invoices, contracts, purchase orders and spreadsheets for what changed.

  • Reads emails, invoices, contracts, purchase orders, delivery notes and spreadsheets every morning
  • Reports what changed since yesterday and what needs a decision
  • Per-task rules (Do it, Draft it, Ask me); it cannot send messages or payments itself, and data stays on the business’s own systems

The problem

  • Long-term memory built on MongoDB and a Qdrant vector store, so the companion recalls what matters
  • Safety moderation on every conversation
  • Replies in the language each user chooses, including Hindi and Hinglish
